Here are your Liverpool morning headlines for Wednesday, January 11.
Atalanta make major Teun Koopmeiners transfer claim
Liverpool's reported interest in Dutch international Teun Koopmeiners has been given fresh impetus after comments made by one of his current club's top bosses.
The Reds have been linked with a host of midfielders since the January transfer window opened, including Atalanta's 24-year-old World Cup star. The player himself is quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying that the links with Liverpool were 'nice to see', but now the Serie A club's sporting director has seemingly welcomed an offer if there is one forthcoming.
Tony D’Amico told Sky Italia: “There’s nothing concrete with Liverpool. We welcome the interest, but he’s one of our players.”

D’Amico's comment is somewhat at odds with first team coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who had tried to play down interest in his midfielder. Italian out Tutto Atalanta reported Gaperini saying: "Koopmeiners won't move in January.”
Elsewhere, Corriere della Sera claim that sources insist that Atalanta have no intention of letting go of the Dutchman unless they receive an 'incredible offer'.
