A huge makeup event is coming to Liverpool's Hilton Hotel in the city centre this month.
Liverpool is well known for its sense of style, as well as its natural inclination for glitz and glamour. There's no shortage of makeup lovers, with novices and experts alike making their presence known online, and in stores and boutiques across the city.
On March 26 and March 27, United Makeup Artists Expo, the UK's most inclusive trade show for professional and aspiring makeup artists, will return to Liverpool's popular Hilton Hotel in the heart of the city centre.

The show will welcome a vast array of makeup aficionados, with aspiring makeup artists and current students from colleges across the UK in attendance, alongside professionals from the film, TV and beauty industries, plus many more.
The hit event is open to both makeup artists and the general public. Attendees can expect to hear from a variety of speakers, and see a range of demonstrations. Alongside its educational line-up, leading professional makeup brands will be on hand to showcase all the latest products.
The show aims to highlight and celebrate some of the home-grown talent in the makeup world. From working backstage at fashion week and creating special effects for films, to visual body-painting designs, UMAexpo aims to showcase a smorgasbord of talent.
In addition, hit brand Warpaint Extra will operate a makeup competition for young artists. With five categories to choose from, guests will be able to see some stellar skills on show.
Both show days offer different highlights - to experience the diversity of all demonstrations and 'hands on' workshops, and listen to each guest speaker, ticket holders are advised to attend both days.
One ticket is valid for both days, with operators no longer offering a one day ticket. Tickets are sold on a first come basis until they are sold out. To book tickets, click here.
The event will take place at Liverpool's Hilton Hotel, 3 Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool, L1 8LW, on March 26 and March 27.
