Liverpool have received a €10,000 fine from UEFA in relation to a late-kick off in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Benfica earlier this month.
The Reds beat their Portuguese opposition 6-4 on aggregate to set up a semi-final clash with Villarreal, winning the first leg at the Estadio da Luz 3-1. UEFA have now released the latest decisions from the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body regarding that round of fixtures.
A document released by UEFA states Liverpool have been fined €10,000 and manager Jurgen Klopp has received a warning after a delay to kick off.

Hosts of the fixture Benfica have also been handed a series of fines from the governing body, including €5,000 for a pitch invasion, €8,000 for blocking of public passageways, €5,750 for the lighting of fireworks and €20,000 for the throwing of objects.
Liverpool duo Andy Robertson and Luis Diaz both appeared to have flagpoles thrown at them by Benfica fans as it approached full-time in Lisbon. Goals from Luis Diaz, Ibrahima Konate and Sadio Mane were all on the scoresheet in the first leg.
At Anfield a week later, a 3-3 draw proved to be enough for the Reds as they reached the semi-final stage. Now, they have one foot in the final having beaten Villarreal 2-0 at Anfield on Wednesday night ahead of the second leg in Spain next week.
