Ranel Young came off the bench to score twice as Liverpool U18s continued their encouraging end to the season with a comprehensive win at Newcastle United.
Young, a 17-year-old winger, doubled his tally for the campaign by netting a brace inside 11 second-half minutes as the young Reds romped to a 4-0 triumph at the Newcastle United Academy on Tuesday.
Jayden Danns and Afolami Onanuga also found the target as Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side earned back-to-back U18 Premier League North victories for the first time since October.

Liverpool's first-half endeavours were rewarded on 37 minutes when Danns, who had earlier threatened an opener, put the visitors ahead when nodding in a corner from James McConnell.
Danns, McConnell, Lewis Koumas and Keyrol Figueroa all came close after the break before Young doubled the Reds' advantage on 74 minutes with his first touch after being introduced, tapping in a Koumas cross from the left after a good initial ball from Francis Gyimah.
Onanuga scored the third two minutes later with a low drive before Young nabbed his second with five minutes remaining after being set up by fellow substitute Elijah Gift.
Liverpool U18s are next in action on Friday when they entertain Leeds United in the U18 Premier League North at Kirkby (kick-off 7pm).
