You could have forgiven the UEFA website for lagging a little bit on Thursday night.
Ordinarily speaking, there might have been better things to do on such a glorious summer's evening than to dial in to some more football - especially after what felt like a never-ending season - but it didn't stop countless Liverpool supporters from doing exactly that in order to, possibly, take a sneak peek at their future.
Having shelved initial plans to target Jude Bellingham - due to the immense costs involved - the Reds are intending to spread out their transfer budget on two or three midfield recruits. Alexis Mac Allister is already through the doors and the question continually asked is who might be next.
Two potential candidates - Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone - will have little time to put their feet up before next campaign begins. However, with that comes a chance to put themselves in the shop window as Liverpool watch on armed and ready with cash previously set aside for Bellingham.

Both are taking part in the U21 European Championships in Romania and Georgia this month. So too is highly-rated Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich, for that matter, another starlet on the shopping list.
As things stand, Liverpool want a younger profile to complement the midfielders they already have at Anfield, such as Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Mac Allister, their shining new recruit. As luck or judgement would have it, Jurgen Klopp and his recruitment team have a perfect scouting opportunity right there on their TV screens.
It's something they will have not been able to pass up. Neither did Liverpool supporters.
With the U21 European Championships now in full swing, Thuram and Kone were able to strut their stuff in tandem in the France engine room on Thursday night as they defeated Italy despite being reduced to 10-men late on. It was a game that featured plenty of drama, too, as the Italians (somehow) saw a would-be equaliser chalked off.
Naturally, that prompted a meltdown on social media and beyond, but not before those connected to the red side of this famous footballing city debated the pros and cons of signing Thuram and / or Kone. Spoiler alert, the pros by far outweigh the cons and there have been heavy-handed 'demands' for Liverpool to sign both!
Although judging any player on 90 minutes - or 63 in the case of Thuram as he was subbed off before the end - will never paint the full picture, on this showing Kone looked a little further on in his development right now by putting in a mature display. He was defensively sound, physical when needed and seemed to possess a technical ability that would, undoubtedly, stand him in good stead in the Premier League.
Thuram by no means struggled, but his game - centred on dribbling, trickery and greater risk in the middle and final thirds - saw him drift in and out before France grabbed all three points amid late chaos.
For the casual observer, it had been billed as Thuram or Kone for Liverpool. However, as they proved yet again, they have contrasting styles and attributes that blend perfectly into a midfield three.
Klopp and key figures behind the scenes at Anfield will have already known that from their respective air time with OGC Nice and Borussia Monchengladbach - but it would have not hurt to watch them mix it together. The problem? So too will other scouting departments and Liverpool must be braced to haggle for their two signatures.
