Borussia Monchengladbach have lowered their asking price for Liverpool-linked midfielder Kouadio Kone, according to reports.
The Reds have been mooted as one of the clubs interested in the 21-year-old as his future at Borussia-Park remains uncertain. During the January transfer window, Bayern Munich, Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain were among the clubs listed alongside Jurgen Klopp's side informed on his future.
With two years remaining on his contract, he isn't short of interested parties and the suitors have emerged after he has been one of the most consistent performers for Die Fohlen over the last 18 months but they could be forced to sell him in the summer.

According to SportBILD via Gladbach Live, the German side have reduced their valuation which was in excess of €45m (£39m) to around €30m (£26m).
It has been claimed that the funds they will generate from the former FC Toulouse player could help fund Daniel Farke's rebuild as they're set to lose Remy Bensebaini and Marcus Thuram.
This summer has been billed as an important period for Klopp's side as he looks to restructure the squad that has previously repaid him with their performances. After chasing the quadruple last season, their exploits this season haven't matched previous expectations as they sit six points off the top four.
Their midfield has been criticised for much of the campaign, as well as Jude Bellingham being frequently linked, Kone is among those touted with a move to Anfield.
“I don’t say everything that people say around us is wrong, not at all, but most of the things are not right as well," said Klopp.
"We know we have to improve, we know we have to change things, and we will. We cannot do that now, but it’s already clear that we have to do something in the summer.
"But for now, we just have to go through this and fight back."
