Liverpool are back in Premier League action this weekend as Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to Anfield on Saturday evening.
The Reds will be in high spirits ahead of Spurs' visit on the back of booking their place in the Champions League final courtesy of a 3-2 win at Villarreal earlier this week. Attention will now turn to the English top-flight once more as the title tussle with Manchester City continues.
Klopp's side saw hopes of competing with Pep Guardiola's side ended due to significant injury issues over the course of the campaign, though are much better placed on this occasion as the team nears full strength with only four matches remaining. Roberto Firmino has been the only absentee of late, having missed the previous five fixtures, but is in contention to be involved for this weekend's matchday squad.
HAVE YOUR SAY: Pick your Liverpool team to face Spurs
Asked if the Brazilian could be involved this weekend, Klopp told reporters: "I don’t know, but he is back in training, so now we have to make a decision about that. The foot thing didn’t let him do a lot. We had to let it settle and now we have to make sure that he has a few proper sessions. Obviously we have enough games still, so it's very important that we have to make sure that we get him in the best possible shape.
“I didn't make a decision but it might be possible, that it makes for him more sense just to train through the weekend and be then a big step closer for Tuesday, for example. But let's see. Yesterday he was in training, was great.”
