The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain in Merseyside.
The warning, which will be in place between midnight on Wednesday, November 16 and 11.59pm on Thursday, November 17, covers the whole of Wirral, Widnes, Wigan, and Warrington, and the majority of Liverpool. The warning will narrowly miss Formby, Ormskirk, and Southport.
The Met Office has warned the heavy rain could lead to a small chance of flooding and disruption in Merseyside.

In an online update, The Met Office said: "There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
"Should flooding occur, delays or cancellations to train and bus services are likely. There is a small chance that some communities may be temporarily cut off by flooded roads."
No official government flood warnings are in place for Merseyside.
