Liverpool look set for a big squad upgrade in the upcoming release of FIFA 23, following an incredible 2021/22 campaign as a team and individually.
The 2021/22 season saw Liverpool win two trophies, reach the UEFA Champions League final and finish only one point behind Man City in the race for the Premier League title, in what was one of the Reds' best seasons under Jurgen Klopp. Mohamed Salah, Thiago, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and January signing Luis Diaz were just a few of the players who impressed last season, and their performances could potentially be rewarded with upgrades in FIFA 23.
FIFA 23 is set for a worldwide release on Friday, September 30, 2022. The ratings announced by EA at the game's release will be the players' permanent ratings in the Ultimate Team game mode, though player ratings can change in other game modes based on real-life performances.

Darwin Nunez, Salah, Diogo Jota, Fabio Carvalho, Curtis Jones, Fabinho Harvey Elliot and Caoimhin Kelleher could also all be upgraded, with Salah potentially set for a +2 increase, making him 91 rated overall. The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Joe Gomez could all receive downgrades, whilst deadline day signing Arthur could also decrease due to a lack of game time at Juventus last season.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
