Liverpool midfielder James Milner has admitted that he refuses to watch Manchester City amid their Premier League title battle with the Merseyside club.
City could move six points clear at the top of the table on Sunday afternoon with a win over West Ham United at the London Stadium, meaning Liverpool would have to win their two remaining matches and hope City lost on the final day of the season at home to Aston Villa. City moved three points clear at the summit on Wednesday night with a thumping 5-1 win at Wolves.
Liverpool are competing in the FA Cup final at Wembley this weekend and will not play in the Premier League again until they face Southampton on Tuesday evening. Therefore, should City win on Sunday, Liverpool would be six points behind their rivals with just two games left to play.

The two clubs have been chasing the top step of the podium throughout the season, with neither side letting up in their pursuit of a latest league title. But with the two clubs so often cancelling each other out and only nudging narrowly ahead of one another, Milner has admitted that he pays no attention to Pep Guardiola's side when they are in action.
"I never, ever watch their games," Milner told The Athletic. "It was the same when I was at City and it was going down to the wire.
"You sit there, so tense, hoping, a waste of energy. I can't do anything about it."
Milner, who is now 36, spent five years at the Etihad Stadium and helped the club win two Premier League titles during that time. He has since won another one with Liverpool, helping them storm their way to the crown in 2019/20, meaning he will have now set his sights on winning a fourth of his career, although a win for City at West Ham could all but spell the end of the Reds' title prospects.
