Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher issues Glastonbury verdict after Scousers 'take over'

Jamie Carragher has issued his Glastonbury verdict after another memorable week at Worthy Farm.

The Liverpool FC legend was among the thousands who travelled to Somerset for one of the world's biggest music festivals. The Sky Sports pundit made the journey with a huge party of friends and family that included his wife, Nicola, and daughter, Mia.

Carragher has been sharing updates of his Glastonbury experience on Instagram with his 1.7m followers. The 45-year-old from Bootle has taken to the social media platform to reflect on the amazing time he had at the music festival.

He shared a photo with his daughter, Mia, in the crowd at the Pyramid Stage alongside the caption: "My baby girl." Today he has shared a series of snaps from throughout the festival as he issued his final Glastonbury verdict.

He said: "The best place with the best people."

Carragher was not the only Scouser at Glastonbury as many people from the city travelled to Worthy Farm. Glastonbury is quickly becoming a spiritual home for Liverpudlians and it's no surprise with the city's affinity for music and Scouser's world renowned party spirit.

Many on Twitter took to the social media platform and hailed how an army of Scousers had taken over Worthy Farm. Lydia said: "Glasto is an army of Scousers right now and we love to see it."

Jacob said: "First time at Glasto and it's quite unbelievable how many Scousers are here" [sic].

Matt said: "Every second accent" was Scouse and Jake said: "Scousers have taken over Glastonbury". Laurel said: "I swear Glastonbury is 80% Scousers".
