Liverpool FC keeper Alisson Becker welcomes baby son with gorgeous family photo

Liverpool FC goalkeeper Alisson Becker has welcomed his first son - and a gorgeous family photo captured the moment after the birth.

The Brazilian keeper already has a two-year-old daughter called Helena with his doctor wife Natalia Becker - and their new arrival makes them a family of four.

Natalia shared a stunning snap of the couple beaming with their newborn son to announce his birth on Instagram.

The picture shows Alisson grinning from ear to ear, wearing surgical scrubs and a cap, while she looks positively radiant with her son cradled on her chest.

Sharing the picture on Instagram today, she added a heartwarming caption, saying: "Matteo, our gift from God, came showing me a place I did not even know existed in my heart! Thank you God so much, we saw you in every detail!"

Alisson shared the same photo on his social media, saying: "Children are an inheritance of the Lord! Welcome Matteo! May the blessing of God always be upon your life! Dad and Mom love you so much!"

Natalia, who regularly attended Liverpool matches throughout her pregnancy, chose a name for the couple's son months before his birth.

The couple picked the name Matteo for their second child, who was born on Friday according to her Instagram caption.

The pair got together in 2012 and got married in 2015, after meeting in their native Brazil.

Natalia is a qualified doctor, completing her degree at the Catholic University of Pelotas, in Brazil, and has worked as paediatrician.

Alisson has previously revealed how his wife left Brazil to move to Rome with him - just months after graduating.

He said: "That meant a lot to me. I enjoyed supporting her while she was finishing her studies at university."

During Liverpool's Champion's League campaign Natalia has followed Alisson, along with Firmino's wife Larissa Pereira and Fabinho's wife Rebeca Tavares, with the three women becoming inseparable.

However, Natalia was unable to make it to the Madrid final due to her impending birth.
