Liverpool FC's manager Jurgen Klopp has sent a heartfelt message to the city and all those heading here for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The city is hosting the 2023 competition after Ukraine won last year but could not host due to the ongoing invasion by Russia. All over Liverpool special events and concerts have been taking place in the build up to the final on Saturday, May 13 at the M&S Bank Arena.
Thousands of people from all over Europe are expected in the city centre and the football manager wanted to welcome visitors to the city he has called home for many years.

In a video published by Liverpool City Council, Reds manager Klopp said: "Hi, welcome to Liverpool, home of Liverpool Football Club, The Beatles, museums and galleries galore and for this coming fortnight - Eurovision 2023. As someone who is clearly not a Scouser, I just want to say to visitors what a great time you're going to have.
"Liverpool has been home to me and my family for many years now and the people are just wonderful - warm, funny and very open and welcoming. I also know how serious the city has taken the responsibility of putting on a fantastic show on behalf of Ukraine.
"Even if you haven't got tickets to see the contest, there's so much going on for you and your friends to enjoy. United by music?
"It's going to be amazing, no question. And to the people of Ukraine, wherever you are, I want you to know this: You'll Never Walk Alone."
