Jordan Henderson says Liverpool will do their utmost to keep pressure on Manchester City in the title race after those sides played out a pulsating draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus twice put the champions ahead.
However, the Reds underlined their fighting spirit to hit back through Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane. Of course, that result means there is still only one point between these two contenders heading into the final seven games.
Further chances were passed up at both ends and, following VAR intervention, Raheem Sterling also had a would-be winner chalked off for offside. Beyond this showdown and the continuing title race, City and Liverpool will lock horns in the FA Cup and could yet meet in the Champions League showpiece, too.

During his post-match interview, Henderson told Sky Sports: "It was an intense game which we knew it would be. We knew that it'd be tough, [City are a] fantastic team.
"We wanted to come here and give it our best and get the win but, unfortunately, we couldn't do that. But at the same time, we didn't lose the game. But yeah, of course, we wanted to do better, but it's not the end of the world. We're still in the race, so there are positives and negatives [to take]."
Henderson continued: "We'll have to wait and see [what happens in the title race]. They don't drop many points.
"We know that and need to concentrate on ourselves, keep trying to win as many games as we possibly can, as if they do slip up we need to be behind them. There's still a lot of football to be played, it's not the end of the world, we stay positive and keep going to the end."
