Liverpool fans spot what Jamie Carragher said when Usain Bolt ran past him during Soccer Aid

Football fans were quick to spot what Jamie Carragher said after having to keep pace with Usain Bolt during tonight's Soccer Aid charity game.

The annual match to raise funds for UNICEF is taking place at West Ham's London Stadium this evening. Liverpool legend Carragher is in action for England side - with sprint superstar Bolt captaining the World XI.

Bolt vs Carra was a key battle in the early stages of action, as the Bootle-born defender struggled to keep pace with the Jamaican but just about managed to keep him quiet.

During one incident, which saw Bolt speed past Carragher before the former Red got a toe in to clear it, plenty of those watching on managed to lip-read what was said.

@PaulAddison7 on Twitter said: "Carragher giving it a massive 'F*****g hell' as he tries to catch up to Usain Bolt", followed by three laughing emojis. @MarkyP7 caught it too, posting: "5 minutes in and Carragher has already mouthed 'f*****g ‘ell' having been in a foot race with Usain Bolt".

@heskey92 tweeted: "Carra chasing Usain Bolt! Some sight", while another Liverpool fan @_Andy_98_ wrote: "Just turned on the telly and Jamie Carragher is marking and matching the runs of Usain Bolt, how is this not box office pay-per-view".

@ryanburkey56 said: "Jamie carragher already crunching usain bolt Hahahhaha". @CFCSam47 added: "Neville and Carragher having a MNF style argument over not being able to catch Bolt is quality".

Soccer Aid is raising money for UNICEF to help with its mission of providing vaccines, tackling malnutrition and protecting children in times of crisis, such as the conflict in Ukraine.

Since its creation in 2006, by singer Robbie Williams and entertainer Jonathan Wilkes, Soccer Aid has raised more than £60million for the charity.
