Liverpool fans notice what Moises Caicedo did on social media after spotting transfer rumour

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo caught the attention of Liverpool fans by ‘liking’ a tweet relating to reported interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 20-year-old has surfaced as an option for several sides chasing a midfielder during the closing stages of the transfer window, and a report from Ecuadorian outlet StudioFutbol claimed the Reds were readying a bid. Jurgen Klopp’s side have suffered a litany of injuries amid a slow start to the new season, with Thiago, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all unavailable - Naby Keita also missed the opening two games through illness.

Those injuries have reignited calls for Liverpool to go back into the market for a midfielder, specifically a younger option to help re-balance the age profile in the middle of the park. And with Seagull’s man Caicedo liking a tweet regarding his potential departure, the youngster has caught the eye of those on Merseyside. - you can see Caicedo's liked tweets here.

The tweet from StudioFutbol says: “Moisés #Caicedo has aroused the interest of big clubs in England. What do you think would be the best destination for 'Moi'?”

Graham Potter’s Brighton insist their midfielder - who arrived last year for just £4.5million - is not for sale. The former Independiente midfielder has only made 10 Premier League appearances but has already caught the eye of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
