A video clip has emerged which shows Liverpool’s influence in the upcoming Amazon Prime documentary about Arsenal.
The renowned documentary series is due to release behind the scenes footage from Arsenal’s 2021/22 season. It follows on from previous editions around Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The clip shows the build up to the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield in November last year. The Reds won the game 4-0, thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino.

In the clip, Arteta is getting ready for a training session in the days leading up to the contest at Anfield. What follows is the Arsenal boss speaking about his personal experience of playing at Liverpool’s stadium, and how he planned to combat it.
As Arteta approaches one of his backroom team, he says: “One of my crazy ideas. Today, they are going to train with You’ll Never Walk Alone in the background.”
The Arsenal staff member replies: “It’s a good idea actually, it’s an interesting idea. I’m looking forward to it.”
Arteta, in a separate scene, goes on to explain his reasoning for the training method.
He says: “There is a word that we use in Spain for cycling. When a cyclist is going up [a hill] and looks amazing, and in one kilometre he goes ( Arteta signals going down a hill fast ) and looks like he’s going to get stuck.
“There’s a word [we use] it’s pájara. I had this once at Anfield.
“The game was going well and then suddenly all I could see was red shirts flying around. The game was passing all over me and I could not react.
“People will say ‘what is he doing’ and I think ‘I cannot do it - physically and emotionally, I cannot cope and everything goes too fast'.
“I only had this feeling in my career once and it was at Anfield.”
The video then proceeds to show a clip of an Arsenal training session, with two speakers playing a rendition of the Anfield crowd singing the famous anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. Arteta then shouts to his players: “Mentally, we start to play the game now. We are at Anfield.”
The video has been circulated widely on social media. Plenty of Liverpool fans have reacted to the post by Amazon.
One fan wrote: “Worked well to be fair. Just the four goals conceded this time.”
Another said: “Imagine being us.” While another added: “I adore that we have been portrayed as the villains in two All or Nothings.”
