Liverpool fans make Brighton decisions as Diogo Jota and Naby Keita miss out

Another vital three points are at stake for Liverpool this afternoon in the Premier League.

Taking on Brighton at the Amex Stadium, Jurgen Klopp's side will look to reduce the gap to Manchester City back to three points.

A reaction from the first-team may well be expected following Tuesday night's Champions League defeat at the hands of Inter Milan, though which players will be battling to secure a win for the Reds on this occasion?

With a midweek trip to Arsenal on the horizon next week, the Liverpool boss may be tempted to rest certain players ahead of the visit to north London.

It also remains to be seen as to whether or not Ibrahima Konate, Thiago and Virgil van Dijk will be involved after appearing to play no part in Thursday's training session.

Klopp hinted in his pre-match press conference that the club have been facing coronavirus issues, though chose not to provide further clarification on the availability of the above trio.

We asked you to name the side you would select to take on the Seagulls, with the outcome of this question listed below.

Joel Matip was preferred in central defence ahead of Konate, with Joe Gomez also missing out.

In midfield, Fabinho and Thiago make the cut in favour of Curtis Jones and Naby Keita as Jordan Henderson also gets the nod.

Diogo Jota has to settle for a place among the substitutes up front, with Luis Diaz backed to start from the off.

Most popular Liverpool XI as voted by ECHO readers (4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Diaz.
