Liverpool fans have a theory over a Fabio Carvalho loan deal to Brighton and Hove Albion in a bid to "sweeten" the Seagulls into the sale of Alexis Mac Allister.
The Reds are bracing themselves for a busy summer ahead of a proposed upheaval in the midfield ranks at Anfield. Jude Bellingham has been repeatedly linked with Jurgen Klopp's side but the club have moved to cool their interest in recent weeks as they look to recruit several options as opposed to spend a sizeable chunk of their transfer pot.
One of the names mooted is Brighton's Mac Allister. The Argentine has burst into the conversation after his scintillating performances on the south coast which were accompanied by his starring role in landing Lionel Messi a World Cup winners medal.

In the last couple of hours, speculation has emerged over the future of the former Fulham midfielder in his debut campaign at Anfield. Carvalho has been linked with a move away from L4, and it remains to be seen what Liverpool would sanction in the summer.
Following the questions surrounding Carvalho and with the recent recruitment success at the AMEX Stadium, fans have urged that should a transfer decision be made on the 20-year-old to be a makeweight for the South American.
Carvalho has been linked with a move away in the summer having featured for just five Premier League minutes since appearing in 10 of the first 11 top-flight games.
Last week, the ECHO reported that Liverpool are also assessing the merits of another Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher, and retain an interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matheus Nunes. Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich is also believed to be on the radar.
