Liverpool fans have called for a Caoimhin Kelleher statue after his Carabao Cup final heroics against Chelsea.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool played out a cracker in Wembley Stadium in front of 90,000 people.
And Cork man Kelleher was called into duty on multiple occasions as Chelsea had a number of chances.
In the end the game finished 0-0 but it was Kelleher who scored the winning penalty with the Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was unable to save any of Liverpool's penalties.
And speaking after the game, Kelleher told Sky Sports: "When it came down to me I didn't think I won the winning penalty.
"I forgot I scored the winning one. All the penalties from the lads were class so I was just happy to score.
"It was more hit and hope. I got close to a few and got a hand on a few but all the penalties were very high quality so thankfully we were able to win."
And Kelleher was asked about a conversation with Jurgen Klopp post match.
He said: "He just said well done on scoring the winning a penalty and obviously there's a wall in Liverpool with all the winning goalkeepers so he said now is your chance you can go on that."
And Liverpool fans were full of praise for Kelleher with some fans calling for a statue.
One user said: "Kelleher deserves a statue outside of Anfield idc what anybody else says"
While another said: "Announce Kelleher lifetime contract and statue outside Anfield"
And another said: "Give Kelleher a statue!!!!"
While another added: "START MIXING THE CEMENT FOR THE KELLEHER STATUE"
