Excitement over potential Liverpool target Manu Kone has skyrocketed over the last 24 hours, and supporters have spotted one piece of individual skill that has them hoping he completes the switch to Anfield this summer.
Yesterday the club confirmed the long-awaited news of Jorg Schmadtke's appointment as sporting director, and from that moment on speculation of summer transfers snowballed throughout the afternoon.
First, it was Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister and further details of his anticipated move from the south coast to the north west. Then, it was the turn of Khephren Thuram of OGC Nice to be linked, and finally Borussia Monchengladbach's Kone.

The latter has been at the centre of growing attention across the continent, reportedly including the Reds' bitter rivals Manchester United in the past, though Kone has displayed his professionalism throughout the recent 2022/23 campaign by remaining loyal to his German employers.
But come the season's end, Liverpool's midfield revamp has officially begun - and supporters have sounded out one clip of Kone doing the rounds on social media as a reason to "get him in right now".
Seen here, Kone could not pass up the opportunity to nutmeg an unsuspecting Monchengladbach supporter after they invaded the pitch to celebrate the team's 4-1 victory over Hoffenheim in January.
The clip achieved over 2.1 million views on the German club's own Tiktok channel, and Reds fans are showing it just as much love now that is has resurfaced in the wake of a potential move to the Premier League.
"He's a king, please sign him," said one Liverpool fan, whilst another labelled his cheeky piece of skill as "absolute genius."
Others also picked up on the steward's barnstorming tackle that inadvertently dispossessed the midfielder upon completion of the nutmeg. However, barring that it is clear to see that the ability Kone already has in his locker, his high potential for Jurgen Klopp to unlock, and finally his affinity for supporters, are all qualities that suggest he could hit the ground running should he move to Merseyside.
