Liverpool have reportedly drawn up a list of possible transfer targets following the injury to Luis Diaz.
The Reds were dealt a blow last week after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Diaz had flown back to Merseyside after suffering a setback on his return from injury. The Colombia international has been sidelined since the start of October after damaging his knee.
Diaz had taken part in training with the squad in Dubai but travelled back to the UK after complaining of discomfort in the same knee. It has now been confirmed that the 25-year-old has undergone surgery on his lateral collateral ligament and is likely to be sidelined for a three more months.

As a result, Liverpool are being linked with players who could possibly fill the void left by Diaz’s absence. And a report from Spanish news outlet Fichajes has listed four names who the Reds have said to have placed on a shortlist ahead of the January window.
According to the report, PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo is one of the potential targets for Jurgen Klopp. He is joined by Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby.
Alongside the duo, Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mykhaylo Mudryk and Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram are also mentioned as potential targets for Liverpool.
