Ryan Kent's show-stopping performance for Rangers against Borussia Dortmund will have alerted a host of tops clubs to former Liverpool players undoubted talent and his former employers can still prosper from it.
The winger, who was at the Merseyside club's Youth Academy for over 10 years, raised eyebrows across the continent on Thursday evening with a dazzling display that help the Scottish Champions to clinch a remarkable 4-2 against the former European Champions in their own back yard.

BT Sport pundit Owen Hargreaves even went as far as to compare Kent to ex-Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery before pointing out that a host of Premier League clubs will now be keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old, who only every played once for Liverpool's first team.
But despite selling Kent to Rangers in September 2019 for a fee of £6.5million The Reds can still make a buck off his next move.
That's because when the deal was done, Liverpool negotiated a 20 percent sell-on fee for Kent, should he be sold to another club in the future.
The Anfield club as always remained confident that their Academy prospect could eventually make it in the Premier League with another club and as such, was considered an important part of the deal to move north.
Kent played a huge part in helping Rangers to lift the Scottish Premier League title last season under Steven Gerrard, for the first time in 10 years, and has now seen his stock rise even further after last night's European triumph.
But any monetary benefit that Liverpool could receive from his future sale will only kick in if his transfer fee is above £7.5million - the same amount that the original deal could rise to with achievable bonuses.
However, with the talented winger seemingly on an upwards trajectory and his former boss Gerrard now back in the Premier League with Aston Villa, Anfield chiefs will remain confident of a strategic pay day thanks to Kent, further down the line.
