Liverpool have been scoring goals for fun this season.
In Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane, they boast the three highest scorers in the Premier League, while they have scored more goals than anyone else in the English top-flight with their total of 71 three more than league-leaders Man City, having played a game less.
Meanwhile, on the march for an unprecedented quadruple, they have scored 109 goals in all competitions.
And they could match one landmark goalscoring record when they take to the field against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
Since the inaugural Premier League season in 1992/93, the Reds have scored 1,998 goals in the English top-flight and will hope to score their 2,000th goal against the Seagulls.
If they do so, they will become only the second team to reach the landmark in Premier League history, with Manchester United scoring their own 2,000th goal back in October 2019.

Scott McTominay was the record goalscorer on that occasion, netting the Red Devils’ opener in a 3-1 win against Norwich City, with United now boasting 2,173 goals.
However, Liverpool might not necessarily become the second side to score 2,000 Premier League goals, with one Premier League rival currently breathing down their neck.
Arsenal have scored 1,997 goals themselves in Premier League history, one less than the Reds, and will have their own sights on the record landmark when they host Leicester City on Sunday.
But ultimately it matters not if Liverpool are the second or third team to break the barrier, with another three points the only thing that matters to Jurgen Klopp ’s side as they continue to chase down Man City in the title-race.
And whenever the Reds do score their 2,000th Premier League goal, Salah will be the most-likely candidate to net it.
The Egyptian is closing in on a landmark himself, with the forward on the verge of becoming the first player to score 20 Premier League goals this season.
The 29-year-old is without a goal from Liverpool's last three games and only scored twice from open play since returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty at the start of February.
But after missing a couple of chances in the defeat to Inter Milan in midweek, Salah wasn't to be subdued.
"I hit the post a couple of times. Maybe next game I’ll score three!" he joked.
And while it might be a tongue-in-cheek comment, Brighton better beware. They have been warned!
