Liverpool have half of the job done as they look to secure their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League. The Reds beat Benfica 3-1 in Lisbon on Tuesday night and will feel confident going into the second leg at Anfield next Wednesday.

According to the French outlet, Liverpool are in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer. Real Madrid are still strong favourites to capture the signing of the France superstar but the report wonders whether the Reds could put together a 'bold financial package' to rival the La Liga giants.

Mohamed Salah wants to sign a new contract at Liverpool, according to Egypt sports minister Ashraf Sobhi. Salah's deal expires in the summer of 2023 and an agreement is yet to be reached with the Reds.
Reports have suggested that the Egyptian wants a huge salary increase but Liverpool aren't willing to break their wage structure. But according to Sobhi, a deal could finally be on the cards.
