Newcastle United players were accused of warming up to close to the Liverpool players at half-time during their clash at Anfield. Liverpool coach Andreas Kornmayer complained relentlessly during the half-time break as Sven Botman strayed into the Reds half.
At first, Botman did not understand what the uproar was about but Kornmayer ushered the Toon players away from the halfway line as he awaited the Liverpool stars coming back down the tunnel.
Botman eventually moved back into the Newcastle area of the pitch but first-team Toon stars Karl Darlow and Matt Ritchie looked like they were trying to demonstrate how petty the Liverpool coach was being.
Newcastle had gone in 1-0 up at the break with Liverpool rattled by the Magpies thanks to Alexander Isak's opener.
