Liverpool city centre venue in the running for prestigious award

A popular city centre venue is in the running to bag a prestigious award.

The Bentley, a hit events and entertainment venue on Brunswick Street, has garnered praise and recognition for being an ideal spot for a celebration. It commands a first rate reputation, and is a regular feature on the wedding circuit thanks to its luxurious surroundings and attentive staff.

Now, it's in the running to scoop a gong in the North West Wedding Awards 2023. Every year, the awards recognise wedding suppliers across the North West "who really go the extra mile".

The annual awards are voted for by brides and grooms who had "outstanding experiences". The 2023 ceremony will be the 13th anniversary of the North West Wedding Awards.

The Bentley is a favoured choice for weddings. The location offers stunning views of Liverpool's historic waterfront, including The Three Graces. The venue also boasts a team of dedicated planning staff, who take brides and grooms from initial meetings, to supporting and executing every detail of their wedding day. The Bentley also offers a number of tailored wedding packages to create a bespoke day suited to individual couples' desires.

There's a variety of stylish, dedicated rooms like The Cunard, The Port of Liverpool and the Rooftop Terrace to enjoy, all in a bid to suit every wedding party. Having been nominated every year since 2020, The Bentley team are hoping for success at next year's North West Wedding Awards.

The awards event is the brainchild of County Brides, who help couples find their ideal wedding locations and suppliers through its County Brides magazine, fayres and blog.

The Bentley general manager Ryan Dillon said: "Even at the beginning of this year, we couldn't have predicted what a busy 12 months we have enjoyed, and that is a testament to the efforts of everyone who works as a part of the team at The Bentley. Our weddings in particular have proved to be both prestigious and popular."

In the 2023 awards, The Bentley is hoping for victory in two areas - the Venue Merseyside section, and the Wedding Planning Award, which would see Ryan Dillon and events manager Jay Harris recognised.

Ryan continued: "At the heart of each wedding is the strong working relationship forged between wedding couples and those they look to for support. It is a complex and often intricate process making sure we get every single detail absolutely spot on. Put simply, for the couple involved it is the most important day of their lives, and it is our job to ensure they get the wedding they both desire and deserve.

"The County Wedding Awards are an event the whole team enjoys as it not only gives us a chance to celebrate our own endeavours, but also everyone in our industry who works so hard. Dawn and Duane Thornborough of County Brides do a fantastic job of bringing us together every year - it's lovely for us to enjoy a party that is organised by this marvellous team."
