Liverpool city centre food venue among top five in UK

A city centre food hall has been named among the best in the UK.

Liverpool boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants and food venues, with global and local cuisine available across the city and beyond. Those who crave a little more variety and versatility are spoilt for choice with the consistent rise in food halls in recent years.

One such venue - Baltic Market - has impressed, finishing among the top five in a recent poll of the 20 best food halls in the UK. The Baltic Triangle spot is a firm favourite in Liverpool, thanks to its wide array of street food, dessert stalls and drinks, complemented by plenty of picnic tables and outdoor seating.

Now, it's been recognised by global travel site Big 7 Travel and holiday specialists EnjoyTravel. The companies teamed up to find the best food halls in the UK.

Venues were ranked based on several factors, including the range of cuisines on offer, the selection of vendors, unique and special events, overall atmosphere, and more. The Baltic Market finished in fifth place overall.
