Liverpool city centre bar Jurgen's Bierhaus has announced it is expanding.
The bar, on Brunswick Street, has gone from strength to strength since it opened in 2019, and is capitalising on it's success to open a new private hire room. The room will have a capacity of 200, and be licenced until 2am.
The bar has attracted fans of Liverpool Football Club across the city and the world, and one of the go-to spots for big sporting events. Jurgen Klopp himself even visited the bar in 2022, much to the delight of the staff and customers.

The bar’s devotion to its namesake and his team is a huge part of its charm, with a striking portrait of Klopp, adorning one feature wall, by local artist Paul Curtis. The venue is also packed with covetable LFC memorabilia, featuring shirts and boots from leading Liverpool legends, and a separate and much-appreciated Hillsborough memorial wall.
Natalie Little, general manager at Jurgen's Bierhaus, said: “Since our opening, we have really enjoyed welcoming guests locally, from around the UK and then further afield. Of course, our name attracts Liverpool fans but over time we have really enjoyed getting to know customers who love watching all live sports - as well as football, our live boxing viewing events are also a big draw.
"We delight in hosting new faces, and also enjoy a lot of returning guests, and through our conversations with them, it was clear they would appreciate a separate space where they could host their own parties and events. So now we are getting ready to launch the Liver Room.
"Our fantastic chefs and catering team will be on hand to provide curated buffet menus all prepared in-house, and we are so pleased that this venture will be providing five new employment opportunities, ranging from part-time to full-time. We want to create a really relaxed atmosphere, which the bar is now renowned for."
