A fish and chip shop in Liverpool is so popular, people travel miles to visit it every day.
Bambo Stavrou is the owner of Heritage Fish & Chips, a one-of-a-kind chippy on Great Howard Street. You may have noticed it if you commute into the city, given its iconic shutter doors featuring the Liver Birds and cathedrals.
Bambo is part of a family that has run fish and chip shops in Merseyside since the 1960s. Having made a "natural progression" into the business, Bambo has run Heritage Fish & Chips for 10 years on and off.

Speaking to the ECHO, Bambo shared his pride in running such a well-loved establishment. He said: "I love the customers...
"They are well-mannered, honest people. We get mainly workers at lunchtime, but we have customers from all over, Southport, Formby, Kirkby and Halewood.
"The locals are good regulars and we get customers that come every day."
Bambo's family also run The Village Chippy in West Derby and Cosmos Supper Bar in Rainhill, but it was the location of Great Howard Street that caught Bambo's attention.
He said: "It felt natural to me to go into the family business and become a business owner. I saw potential in the area. The area is up and coming with the Everton Stadium being built."
Bambo also credits the Titanic Hotel and Costco for custom. He said: "I think with the stadium getting built and the Titanic Hotel, a lot more houses and hotels will be getting built."
Looking at Heritage Fish & Chips' online reviews, you can see the shop is well known for its tasty menu and friendly customer service. One person said: "Best fish and chips I've had in a long time."
Another added: "As always great produce, the fish is delicious from here as are the mushy peas, the portion sizes are excellent as is the cost. Have to add the service is brilliant too. Nothing too much trouble. Always service with a smile."
However, it's not just their fish and chips that have proved popular with customers. Bambo said: "The salt and pepper chicken is our most ordered.
"The famous salt and pepper box is like a tapas of chippy favourites. It has spring rolls, wings, ribs, chips, chicken pieces and donna meat."
But for Bambo, having happy customers is what his business is all about. He said: "I'm very proud. W e use the best ingredients."
