Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has warned Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer window. In an exclusive interview with our sister site the Liverpool Echo, the 72-year-old hinted that Jurgen Klopp is ready to create a dynasty at Anfield through his "culture of winning."
The Reds have enjoyed a fruitful spell under the German boss' stewardship in recent years, with neither of London's clubs finishing above Liverpool in the Premier League for four successive seasons. Arming Klopp with tactically astute and financially sensible signings, Liverpool have gone from strength to strength, with only Manchester City in their way.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all eager to narrow the gulf in class, with all of those sides reportedly likely to spend big this summer. As per the Telegraph, failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League won't prevent Arsenal from investing heavily in the first-team squad this summer.

Though, despite Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all rallying to combat Liverpool's dominance, the Reds' chairman says Fenway Sports Group owe a huge debt of gratitude to Klopp and will continue to back the German in the transfer market.
"So much of this is down to creating a culture of winning. We've said it before and we mean it, we want to win more trophies for our supporters," Werner said. "We want to be like the great teams in England and Europe. You can only do that by doing it brick by brick.
"The signing of Luis Diaz, for a long time people were asking why Liverpool weren't being more aggressive in the transfer market, but the fact is we had such an excellent team that it was important that if we signed someone they would play a significant amount."
