A Liverpool café has been named among the best in the UK.
Research by gaming experts SolitaireBliss named city centre café Sugar and Dice one of the best board game cafes in the UK.
The research studied the Google reviews of board game cafes across the country to determine which are the best based on each café's number of reviews and the average rating.

Sugar and Dice came in at number nine, with an average rating of 4.9 based on 558 reviews.
The tiny board game café is tucked away on the fringes of the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool city centre.
Sugar and Dice is packed with large shelves crammed with boxes of all sizes, each containing a game you’ve either definitely heard of or definitely haven’t.
The concept of the venue is simple- you can enjoy some homemade food and drink while trying your hand at some games.
Every board game imaginable available, from classics like Cluedo and Scrabble to new games made by locals in the gaming industry.
A spokesperson for SolitaireBliss said: “Board game cafes are becoming more popular with new locations opening across the country, and this is reflected in these results.
“It is interesting to see which ones have the highest customer ratings and where they are based. Each with two entries in the top ten, Nottingham and London are clearly great places to be a board game fan.”
Sugar and Dice is open from 2pm - 10pm on Monday, and Wednesday to Friday; 12pm - 10pm on Saturdays and 12pm - 8pm on Sundays.
