Jurgen Klopp will escape FA punishment for his comments over Newcastle United’s ownership model. Last week, the Liverpool boss took a swipe at the Magpies - as well as Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain - for their bottomless pit of wealth.
All three clubs are backed by Gulf states and regarded as having the deepest pockets in world football. Klopp said: "What can Liverpool do? We cannot act like them. It is not possible - not possible.
“It is just clear, and again, you know the answer. There are three clubs in world football (Man City, PSG and Newcastle) who can do what they want financially. It's legal and everything, fine, but they can do what they want.

"Newcastle ( Dan Ashworth ) said there's no ceiling for the club, he's right, there is no ceiling for Newcastle - congratulations, some other clubs have ceilings. We cannot act like them. It's not possible."
Midweek reports claimed Klopp was considering legal action after accusations of xenophobia. The German defiantly defended his character before Liverpool’s midweek win against West Ham United.
“I don’t feel, in this specific case, I don’t feel it at all,” Klopp refuted. “I know myself. And you cannot hit me with something which is miles away from my personality. If I was (xenophobic) like this I would hate it. I would hate myself for being like this.
"I have said a lot of times things that were a little bit open for misunderstanding, I know that. It was not intentional; just sometimes you say things and you think: ‘Oh my God, it can be interpreted like this!’ But this is not one of these moments.”
Now, BBC Sport are reporting that Klopp will face no disciplinary action or investigation relating to his comments. Liverpool are set to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend.
