Jurgen Klopp has given Liverpool fans hope that they will be arriving at the Emirates to take on Arsenal armed with a fit Mohamed Salah on Wednesday night.
The Reds are gearing up for what will undoubtedly be a huge clash in north London that is certain to have knock-on effects in both the race for the title and the race for Champions League qualification as both sides look to continue their respective winning runs.
Liverpool enjoyed yet another dominant display at the Amex on Saturday afternoon as the Reds beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 on their own patch courtesy of goals from Luis Diaz and Salah himself from the spot, though the Egyptian international was withdrawn just four minutes later.
The 29-year-old was replaced by Diogo Jota just after the hour mark having sustained a knock to his foot earlier on in the second-half which inevitably sparked fears Salah would be unavailable for the game against Arsenal, especially after he was forced to undergo tests to determine the extent of the damage and was ruled out of training on Monday as a precaution.
However, Klopp appears to have suggested Salah could be available for selection at the Emirates with his assessment of the situation during his pre-match media duties on Tuesday afternoon. The Reds boss revealed: "Mo is a tough cookie. We were quite happy and lucky. Swollen, painful, today less so. Got a message before the presser he's ready to train. We'll see how that looks."
In recent weeks there has also been intense speculation surrounding the future of Salah given his contract will have just one year left to run come the end of the current campaign. The rumour mill was sent into overdrive earlier this month when reports surfaced that Salah and his camp had rejected Liverpool's most recent contract offer, reports that were followed by the Egyptian's agent taking to Twitter to send a not-so-subtle message at the club.

Ramy Abbas Issa tweeted a series of laughing emojis which seemed to imply Liverpool had low-balled their star-man. Klopp joked that he is glad he isn't on social media himself.
"I’m not on Twitter – another good reason for that!" he added. "I spoke about that, but actually I shouldn’t have. I don’t think I said anything [controversial], it was like it is, but you got me in the trap or whatever.
"All of a sudden, I created headlines. The last thing I want to do in press conferences is create headlines. Then, again, you just asked the question and I gave such a long answer. But it’s all fine. I don’t know about any kind of reactions and stuff like this, but that’s not what I’m concerned about."
