The owners of a Liverpool bar says they're “delighted” to be opening a second venue in Merseyside next month.
Murphy's Distillery, which is tucked away on the Dock Road, near Ten Streets Social and the Invisible Wind Factory, has announced that a second bar will open in Wirral at the end of March.
The bar, which comes from the family-run business behind Murphy’s Gin, will open at Woodside Ferry Village in Wirral, with aims to become “a real destination venue”.

The new venue will be similar to its sister site in Liverpool, serving up food, drink and live entertainment.
Taking to its Instagram feed to share the news, Murphy’s Gin said: “We are delighted to share that in partnership with @woodside4food and @wirralchamber Murphy’s Gin will be launching a new bar at Woodside Ferry Village from 30th March.
“We are so excited to be part of the vision that will make this a real destination venue with amazing food, drink and entertainment. Not to mention the view.
“Aside from our fabulous range of Murphy’s Gins, we will also be bringing you a special range of beers and ciders, as well as showcasing other local gins and beers throughout the year. It’s the new place to be and the start of something great on the Wirral…”
Murphy’s Distillery in Liverpool opened its doors last April after several delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. The bar has received rave reviews since then, having been praised for its “great staff” and “lovely atmosphere”.
Murphy’s Distillery at Woodside Ferry Village will open on March 30, 2022.
