Liverpool have unveiled their new away kit for the upcoming 2022/.23 season, ahead of this afternoon's clash with Manchester United.
The team are set to wear the kit against their rivals later today when they meet at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. The squad flew out to Thailand over the weekend for their pre-season tour as preparations ramp up for the new campaign.
The kit boasts a dizzying new design inspired by the city’s vibrant music scene and in particular the pioneering role it played in the 90s dance music scene. It includes an iridescent, multi-coloured marbled pattern over a white base colour and will be available on the club’s official online store from July 12 for early access orders, with the full retail launch on August 19.

Speaking on the launch, captain Jordan Henderson said: “We’re excited for the fans to see the new away kit from Nike. It’s not often we get to wear a jersey on the day of the reveal, so it will be a special moment for the squad to show off the new design in our first pre-season fixture.”
The shirt is finished with a black sleeve cuff and on the reverse is a striking block of white to emphasise the individuality of each player’s name and number. The back of the kit also features the 97-emblem encased by the eternal flames on the neck in memory of those unlawfully killed Hillsborough.
The launch video features a number of Liverpool stars including Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Ibrahima Konate, Harvey Elliott, Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Thiago and Tyler Morton, alongside women’s players Melissa Lawley, Katie Stengel and Leanne Kiernan.
The campaign video also features Reds supporter and Liverpool based DJ and producer Yousef, as well as Liverpool based musician and fan Ben Sharples from Mic Lowry.
Similar to the new season's home strip, the away kit is also sustainably made, with on the pitch and replica jerseys constructed with 100% recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. For the new campaign, a fresh name and number style has been introduced for the back of shirt, which also takes inspiration from the city, with a contemporary take on Liverpool’s historic street signs.
Prices have been frozen and as with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10% discount off the price of the away shirt to all Liverpool official members and season ticket holders. This is also available for UK key workers via Blue Light and Network. More information on eligibility and how to redeem the discount can be found here. UK and US Students can also receive 10% discount via Student Beans. Redemption information can be found here.
