Liverpool and Newcastle are amongst a number of teams eyeing a move for Chelsea star Christian Pulisic in January, according to a report from 90Min. The two Premier League clubs are said to be keen on landing a loan deal for the forward in the transfer window to bolster their squads.
That goes against the wish of interim sporting director and co-owner Todd Boehly though, with the Blues said to want a move abroad for Pulisic rather than in the same league. Luckily for him and the club, there is interest elsewhere as the report adds that AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are all interested.
The only issue with those clubs is they haven't indicated a willingness to cover the full costs of having the USMNT international on their books. It brings up a dilemma over exactly what the future may hold for Pulisic, be that at Stamford Bridge or elsewhere as he approaches his peak years.

It hasn't quite worked for him in west London so far and there are doubts over whether he will ever be able to cement himself in the Chelsea team. While he is a useful option when on the pitch, the 24-year-old hasn't been able to earn a consistent run of games in a particular position.
He has shown glimpses though and his recent World Cup campaign saw him become the USA's saviour once again, scoring a vital goal against Iran in the final group stage game to earn progression to the last-16 - taking a knock for his troubles too. While he returns to club football, his talk up to this point hasn't ever been about leaving the Blues.
"I'm still going to have to play hard and enter my position just like I did before," Pulisic told ESPN earlier this year. "Nothing crazy. This is Chelsea. This is what this is, what you sign up for and this is the kind of club it is with the calibre of players that we have."
New head coach Graham Potter has equally talked up the fact that he will likely have to make the most out of what he already has at the squad, potentially providing Pulisic with a final chance at grabbing a place of his own amid swirling interest across all of Europe this January.
