Liverpool could reportedly be set to be dealt a blow to their Premier League preparations after a major flight operator suspended its operations.
The Reds are one of several top flight clubs to use airline Jota Aviation, as do Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. All six of these clubs have used the airline to charter flights domestically this season.
However, Jota has suddenly stopped operating, leaving top-flight clubs including Liverpool facing last minute preparations and facing huge extra costs or trying to find alternative ways to travel. It has also been reported that Jota has gone into administration.

Liverpool have used Jota Aviation for domestic flights this season, including a 175-mile trip from Luton airport to Liverpool John Lennon after the away trip to Watford this season. It’s unclear as to whether Jota were set to be used for any further Liverpool matches this season.
According to The Mirror , Premier League clubs are angry over the shutdown by Jota airlines. A source in the report has been quoted saying: “This has created one hell of a mess. There’s been no warnings or communication, it’s outrageous.”
Jota’s shutdown means that Liverpool and other Premier League clubs are likely to be forced into looking into alternate forms of transport for their remaining domestic matches. The Reds have six league fixtures left to play, including away trips to Newcastle, Aston Villa and Southampton, as well as an FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
