Football fans on Merseyside have been in the doldrums for much of the 2022-23 campaign with both the Blues and Reds alike enduring difficult seasons.
Everton have managed just four wins in the Premier League all season against a backdrop of protests against Farhad Moshiri, Bill Kenwright and the club's board.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have gone from quadruple chasers to mid-table also rans in the space of a less than a year which has focused the attention on Jurgen Klopp and the lack of recruitment.
We want to know the views of both sets of supporters to four key questions in our special poll below before the Merseyside derby next Monday
The Blues failed to sign anybody in the January transfer window despite an urgent need for goals and they remain in the Premier League's bottom three on goal difference.
However, the appointment of Sean Dyche, who secured victory over league leaders Arsenal in his first game in charge, has at least provided a ray of light for the future.
Jurgen Klopp's side are closer to Southampton at the bottom of the table than Arsenal at the top and their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League also hang by a thread.
The Reds are currently 10th on 29 points - 11 points behind fourth-placed Newcastle, although they have a game in hand on Eddie Howe's side.
Liverpool fans have also started to grow frustrated with FSG over a perceived lack of investment in players.
Klopp was able to bring in Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven in January but the failure to add a top-class midfielder last month has turned up the heat on the club's American owners.
