Fresh reports have emerged linking Liverpool with a transfer move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.
The Reds were tipped to bolster their midfield options in the summer. But it was only after a spate of injuries that they brought in Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus.
However, it now seems certain that Liverpool will make permanent additions in that area of the pitch in the coming months. Caicedo is one player who has been credited as a potential target in the past for Jurgen Klopp's side. And now a new report has come to light over Liverpool and the Ecuador international.

According to Sky Sports , the Reds are interested in signing Caicedo in the January transfer window. But they also state that Chelsea are keen to buy the 21-year-old, too.
Sky Sports states that Caicedo’s impressive performances for Ecuador in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have caught the attention of the Premier League duo. Manchester United have also been linked with the youngster in the past.
The article adds that Brighton have no intention of letting Caicedo leave the club in the New Year. He is under contract at the Amex Stadium until 2025, after he was signed for £5m from Independiente del Valle in February 2021.
