Barcelona can't register new signings because of financial problems
Give Me Sport carry a report from COPE which claims that Barcelona can't register new Bosman signings Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie despite announcing them.
Barcelona have landed Christensen from Chelsea on a free and Kessie from AC Milan also for nothing, but cannot register them because their wage bill is still over the permitted limits. This is despite offloading the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
They desperately need to slash their salary bill and reports claim they still owe Manchester United-target Frenkie de Jong and Gerard Pique tens of millions in unpaid wages. De Jong's backpay is said to be holding up his departure from the Nou Camp to United.
Lewandowski hopes Bayern Munich blink first in stand-off with Barcelona
SB Nation carry a report from Bild which claims Robert Lewandowski hopes Bayern Munich will grant him his dream move to Barcelona.
Lewandowski has agreed terms with Barca and wants to quit Bayern with a year left on his contract. The Bundesliga giants refuse to let him leave for less than 50million euros up front and Barca are struggling to meet this demand because of their grave financial problems.
The Poland striker still hopes he can move and wants Bayern to agree a compromise deal with Barca before he is due to report back for training on July 12.
Real Madrid Champions League winner wants to quit the Bernabeu
HITC carry a report from TuttoMercatoWeb which claims Marco Asensio will take a pay cut because he is so keen to leave Real Madrid.
Asensio is frustrated that he is not an automatic started after eight years with Real and he made 23 starts in La Liga and the Champions League last season, with another 19 off the bench.
The winger, who enjoyed his best campaign last season, scoring 12 goals, has a year left on his Real deal and wants to leave this summer. Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan have been credited with an interest in the Spaniard.
