Liverpool John Lennon Airport has "thrown shade" at its neighbouring airport amid complaints of huge queues and missed flights.
It comes as travellers complain of "horrendous" Manchester Airport queues that stretch out of the terminal and into the car park. Passengers have shared pictures online of "huge queues" out of the main doors at Terminal One.
Some claim they waited upwards of three hours to even reach security. Several people have also reported missing their flights because of the long wait times, or their flights being delayed due to passengers being caught up at security.

One man shared an image saying the queue "snakes for 200 metres outside the terminal". A woman told the ECHO
she and other passengers were unable to retrieve their luggage on arrival and had to head home without it.
Issuing an apology to passengers on Wednesday, the airport put the queues down to a 'combination of factors', including an unexpected number of passengers and a high amount of bags being rejected at security. They said the longer waiting times were expected to continue throughout the evening, and advised people to arrive as early as possible for flights.
The disruption led to Liverpool Airport taking the opportunity to make a dig, tweeting a video on Thursday afternoon. The clip showed an unseen person making the journey from the airport's car park, through security, and to the departure gate.
On Twitter, LJLA said: "Today, 11:57am - car park to departures in just 6 minutes, 33 seconds! 3-hour security queues not for you? Fly from Liverpool - the North West's Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport." Responding to the tweet, Jamie Taylor tagged Manchester Airport and said: "You might need some burn cream?".
Martin Pendlebury said: "Manchester Airport, are you watching?", while Carly B said: "THE SHADE OF IT ALL [cry-laughing emojis]"
Manchester Airport has said it is doing everything it can to "rectify the situation" and has urged passengers to "arrive at the earliest time recommended by their airline and to ensure they are as prepared as they can be to pass through security.”
