Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has reportedly told Liverpool that he is open to a transfer amid strong links with a move to Anfield.
Jonathan Northcroft of The Times sparked the speculation at the weekend after his report stated that the Reds have "stepped up" their interest in Gravenberch following a meeting with his representatives.

And in a new report from the The Mirror, it has been claimed that the 20-year-old has told Liverpool chiefs he would be willing to leave Bayern after a single season.
Gravenberch has found life in Bavaria difficult after struggling to usurp Bayern's midfield options since his switch from Ajax last summer.
And The Mirror say, following conversations with his father, Ryan senior, and his agent, Jose Fortes Rodriguez, the Reds have now been urged to open talks directly with Munich.
The report claims Gravenberch currently pockets £100,000-a-week after tax in Germany, which would mean Liverpool having to offer £200,000-a-week "just to match those terms". But, as per The Mirror, those demands are not said to be an issue.
Liverpool are said to be hoping that Bayern will do business should they be able to recoup the £16.3m they paid Ajax for Gravenberch's services last summer. From The Times' report at the weekend, a fee in the region of £25m has already been mooted.
A summer midfield upheaval is anticipated for Jurgen Klopp's side with Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner all out of contract.
The ECHO understands Klopp and the recruitment team have determined they would be better served spreading the cash on several signings rather than committing the majority to one big-money arrival after cooling interest in Jude Bellingham.
