Liverpool have agreed a fee with Fulham for Fabio Carvalho - and now face a race against time to complete the deal before the transfer window closes.
The Reds have thrashed out a compromise with the Championship side over the 19-year-old - who can play wide or as an attacking midfielder - with the youngster returning to Craven Cottage on loan for the remainder of the season.
Liverpool are now rushing to agree personal terms with the player, who must also undergo a medical before the deal can be given the green light.

The transfer window closes at 11pm, although there is an option of a 'deal sheet' that would tell the Premier League and EFL the transfer had been agreed between the two clubs and the player's representatives.
If the deal sheet is approved, there will then be an extension to the transfer deadline in order to complete administrative details.
Carvalho, who was born in the Portugal capital Lisbon, is an England under-18 international and has scored seven goals in 19 games this season for Championship leaders Fulham.
