Liverpool star Andy Robertson has claimed that keeping Arsenal's Bukayo Saka quiet was one of his finest moments last season.
The Scottish international enjoyed a stellar campaign for Jurgen Klopp's side, netting three goals and providing a further 15 assists across all competitions. However, it is stopping Hale End academy graduate Saka during a 2-0 win that he claims he got the most confidence from during the 2021/22 campaign.
“The goal involvements have been big,” Robertson told The Times. “Not as much has been said about that, so maybe I have not taken as much confidence from that this season.

"I have taken more confidence from games where I have not had goal involvements. For instance, Arsenal away is always one I go to.
“I know how good Saka can be and I know in that game I managed to keep him quiet. That was not a big factor in us winning, but a big factor in Arsenal not winning because he is one who sets the tone for Arsenal.
“He is so direct, creates chances and I know in that game I managed to keep him quiet." Robertson is clearly a big fan of Saka, who is valued between €90million-€120 Million (£76million-£102million) by CIES Football Observatory following a season in which he scored 11 goals and also registered seven assists in the Premier League alone.
The 21-year-old has come on leaps and bounds over the last nine months, showing outstanding character to bounce back from Euro 2020 final heartbreak when he missed England's decisive penalty during a shootout loss against Italy.
