Emergency services attended a street in Cardiff city centre this morning, Tuesday October 18, after a medical matter saw buses diverted from the area. South Wales Police and the ambulance service were in attendance at the incident on Churchill Way near Queen Street.
Cardiff Bus has shared that their services were diverted to allow for emergency services to attend. Cardiff bus tweeted: "Due to an incident on Churchill Way no services will be running on this route to accommodate emergency services. These services will divert through Station Terrace until further notice."
South Wales Police confirmed that it is a medical matter and officers have been helping the ambulance service. Kyle Silva, 36, who was working nearby and an eyewitness at the scene said: “[A worker] shouted and there was a man who had fallen on the floor. I ran straight in to give him CPR. A woman called the ambulance. The first response came quickly and then the ambulance followed around 30 minutes later.”
The ambulance service have been contacted. There is currently no update from the service on the details of medical mater.
