A major Nottingham road has been closed both ways by police. A broken down vehicle is blocking Huntingdon Street southbound at Frogmore Street junction this morning, June 15., reports Nottingham Travelwise.
Motorists are facing long delays in all directions as police have closed Huntingdon Street in both directions between the junctions of Woodborough Road and Mansfield Road.
A number of Nottingham City Transport (NCT) buses have been delayed due to the closure, this includes NCT Brown, Sky Blue, Lime, Yellow and Purple lines.

NCT tweeted: “There are delays on Brown, Sky Blue, Lime, Yellow and Purple lines due to the closure of Huntingdon Street.”
In a tweet at 8.51am Nottingham Travelwise said: “Broken down vehicle blocking Huntingdon Street southbound at Frogmore Street junction. Taking out lane 1 (of 1) Traffic diverting onto Frogmore Street. Long delays to inbound traffic. Traffic queuing back to Carrington.”
They later added: “Police have closed Huntingdon Street northbound at the Woodborough Road junction.”
“Huntingdon Street closed in both directions between the junctions of Woodborough Road and Mansfield Road. Delays to traffic in all directions.”
