Updates, highlights
Jaire, Watson, Walker all active: The Packers will return Jaire Alexander, Christian Watson and Jordan Morgan, and Rasheed Walker is active. Of the team’s six inactive players, five are healthy scratches. The Packers are healing entering Week 6.
Complimentary football for 7-0 lead: A punt inside the 10-yard line, a three-and-out-forced and a touchdown drive off a short field put the Packers up 7-0 early. Josh Jacobs and Bo Melton had explosive runs, and Jordan Love capped off the drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Reed on third down.
Bird is the word.

Welcome back, Romeo: In his first game back from suspension, Romeo Doubs caught a touchdown pass from Jordan Love on 3rd-and-5 from the 10-yard line. The third-year receiver won on an out-breaking route, made the catch and broke a tackle to create the touchdown.

Packers rolling: Another drive ended with a score. The Packers couldn’t convert a 72-yard drive into another touchdown, but Brayden Narveson did connect on a 36-yard field goal to extend the lead to 17-0.
Huge sequence: The Cardinals thought they had a fumble recovery on a punt return. Instead, offsetting penalties required a re-kick, and Keisean Nixon returned the punt 39 yards. A play later, Jordan Love hit Christian Watson for a 44-yard touchdown on a deep post from the slot against Budda Baker. The blowout is on.

Cards get on the board: The Cardinals responded, marching 70 yards in just six plays to cut the lead to 24-7. The Packers had a pair of penalties on the drive, and Kyler Murray finished the march with an 18-yard touchdown pass to Michael Wilson on 1st-and-goal following a penalty. The other big play was Murray’s completion to Trey McBride for 27 yards.
Unfortunate sequence: The Packers had their own unfortunate sequence. Bo Melton slipped down, creating an interception, and the Cardinals drove the field to set up a field goal. It’s now 24-10. The Cardinals trailed 23-10 last week in San Francisco and won, so the Packers need a response to start the second half. Cardinals get the football to open the third quarter.
Cards score 13 straight: After falling behind 24-0, the Cardinals have scored 13 straight points. Kyler Murray missed a likely touchdown pass on third down, but Chad Ryland snuck his 40-yarder inside the left upright for three points on Arizona’s opening drive of the second half.
Doubs x2: Jordan Love threw up a ball against a blitz on third down, and Romeo Doubs came down with it and scored from 20 yards out. Doubs now has two of Love’s four touchdown passes. The Packers are back up 18.

Narveson rebounds: After Evan Williams produced a turnover with a punch-out forced fumble, the Packers drove into field goal range and Brayden Narveson — who missed a field goal from 44 yards out on the previous drive — connected from 41. The Packers now lead by 21.
