Live Rainworth bypass fire updates as 'large' Nottinghamshire blaze sets forestry 'well alight'

Four fire crews are in attendance at a 'large' fire on the A617. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Services are currently tackling the blaze on the Rainworth bypass, with services saying that a "large amount of forestry [is] well alight."

A tweet from the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Twitter page read: "We currently have 4 appliances in attendance on A617 Rainworth by pass. Large amount of forestry well alight"

This comes after fire services announced that they are currently dealing with another fire in north Nottinghamshire, with four appliances and a water carrier attending a caravan and workshop on fire on Carter Lane, Warsop Vale.

Fire teams have stated on Twitter that they are currently attending a number of outdoor fires due to "careless acts and hot weather."

This is a breaking incident. Follow our liveblog below for updates.
