Flip phones are certainly having a moment, with a wave of flip phones hitting the market from big hitters like Motorola and Google. But Samsung, the world's largest phone maker and the company that popularised these new folding screen phones isn't going to let just anyone eat its lunch, so will certainly be back with some new Flips and Folds to reclaim its throne.

Only a few hours until the big show. What else can we expect from Samsung today? Well, rumors are pointing toward new Galaxy Tablets and potentially a new Galaxy watch as Samsung continues to build out its ecosystem.
The most recent announcement in the foldable space was from Google with its Google Pixel Fold, which has had mixed reviews as a phone overall, but still has some of that Pixel magic in the cameras. Samsung has fallen a little short on its past foldable cameras compared to its Galaxy S range, so hopefully it can pull off something special with these new devices.
Just fifteen minutes to go until the event starts. I have used foldables from Samsung and other brands, and I am still not completely sold on the foldable form factor, the word 'gimmicky' always springs to mind. But will the next hour convince me otherwise.
